Here Then is a portrait project exploring time, memory, and identity. The project relies on volunteer participation from people in the Seattle area – anyone who can meet the guidelines below is invited to participate regardless of age, background, identity, etc. 
Jocelyn started the project in October 2025 and plans to continue capturing portraits through summer 2027, leading up to a public debut in late 2027. Read below to participate! 
What To Know 
   * individuals who can meet the below guidelines are invited to participate; participation is voluntary 
   * portrait sessions are quick, around 10-15 minutes per person 
   * this project is supported by the 4Culture Individual Art Projects grant 
   * more frequent sessions will be available this fall & winter throughout King County–please reach out below if you'd like Jocelyn to e-mail you when future sessions arise! 

What To Do 
1)  Provide at least 1-3 baby/early childhood photo(s) 
     * Just you in the photo(s), no other people  
     * You can upload your photo(s) to this link before your session
2)  Wear a WHITE top/shirt for your session 
     The lighter the tone, the better. No logos, no noticeable patterns. 
3)  Sign-up for an upcoming session: 
     * West Seattle - Saturday, June 27 - "One-Day Artist Residency" event details.  Please sign up here to confirm which hour block you'll arrive in.
